my outfit for the debate competition day 1 was completely hideous and i did not feel comfortable because my skirt always slides down every now and then. its very annoying!! and we had to spend like a day in the university. it was very tiring because my flat shoes were very uncomfortable and my blazer was hella annoying. despite the horrible clothes and shoes, i manage to survive the day. that's another story for this debate adventure,how about we jump right into the real thing.

as soon as we enter the university.since Jo and Mitchell went together there with me so we were the earliest ones that arrive there. we felt so damn nervous of whats going to happen after that. on the first day,some students were wearing casual clothes. since Fardeen said that we should wear nicer clothes for the sake of the marks,we had to. we've mistaken a lot of students who wore casual clothes to the competition for students who are in the university but as soon as we get entered our waiting room after registration,we realized that they were the students for the debate competition. after registering and getting free stuffs for the ones who attended the debate workshop,we went to the waiting room. as we wait there,the matchups are revealed along with the motion. i was in the Pujut Team B along with Ken and Jo.for the first round,the opponents were very good and i asked if its there first time competing and they said it wasnt. i felt very stupid because DUH everyone here is not a first timer except us. my speech was less than 7 minutes,i tried hard thinking about how do i elaborate this further. i was so nervous that i couldn't elaborate much of what i was going to say. after the 1st round of debate,we were given feedbacks and whatnot.

after the 1st round we had lunch. after lunch we had our 2nd round. the opponents were very friendly. we told the 2nd speaker that it was our first time joining and he said "that was okay. better than my first time" it was very encouraging of what he said and im very glad that we found such friendly rivals like him ((lol pls dont laugh)).the motion for the 3rd round was very COOL and all of the students in the waiting room were cheering because of the motion handed. for the 3rd round,after the debate ended we straight off back home after picking up our bags and refreshments. for 6 of us,we had to stay a little longer to take selfies and talk about what's going on after the 3rd round.

29TH MARCH 2016
for the 2nd day,again me and the other two arrive earlier. which is kinda nice because we have the time all for ourselves. before that,Fardeen arrived at 8 on the first day and we kinda rage on him because he said we have to be on 7:30 in the morning. but the captain himself is not early. so this time on the 2nd day,he arrived early. hohoho. we went to the waiting room again and they were announcing of which schools that "haven't broke". so the ones that broke and havent been announced is the one who lost. both team from our school "broke" so we didn't get to continue to the quarter finals. the one who broke can continue on watching any debates from any school. we planned on following our debate trainer but since he insisted on watching this "school",so we had to go on to watch this school because he said the speech was good. we went on watching and didnt even focus on half of the speech because....it was too good that we don't even want to watch it anymore. for the semi-finals,we didnt watch that because we decided to fool around with the swing (the university has a swing,thats rlly cool). for the finals,we watched it because we were curious of who won and competing against each other. we got our own certificate for joining the competition. and the rest of it was magic (not really). and that wrapped up our 2 days of the debate competition.
im really not sorry if you don't find this entry interesting because im updating this blog to type all of the things that happened this year. a few years later,i will be reading this again and imagining all the good stuffs that happened back in 'those' years. im really happy that i experience this kind of moment with my friends. :)))
